It feels like with a new website the work is never done. It's my opinion but I think when you add the writer personality ego, questions flash through our imaginations.
Does anyone even know this site is here?
Does anyone care?
Am I doing everything to make it a quality effort?
That last one gets me. I have a Savior, and it's not Google. I know this is a technological entity that needs to be acquainted with my little corner of cyberspace. I don't know all the things out there to maximize the site. I do know word of mouth works. Too much words out of my mouth makes me feel like a NASCAR driver spouting off their sponsors.
So...if you like this site:
1. Accept my thanks. I really appreciate anyone who reads, no matter how they got here.
2. Subscribe through Google Reader or Feedburner.
3. Bookmark it and come back daily. I update often.
4. Subscribe to my newsletter. Active subscribers receive the free short story Discovering Nancy Struthers as my thank you gift. My newsletter, Julie Arduini: The Surrendered Scribe, is a monthly account of my surrender journey. It also includes resources and other information I hope you find hopeful. I also send out monthly installments of Discovering Nancy Struthers.
5. Sign my guestbook. I love when you say hello. That, and many other "friend-ly" features are on the right sidebar.
6. Find me! I'm on Facebook and also have a group named, you guessed it, Julie Arduini: The Surrendered Scribe. I send out weekly messages to group members about what God is teaching me. I also share those lessons at The Cypress Times. I'm also on Twitter, as is my fiction experiment, Nancy Struthers.
7. Leave comments. It doesn't take long and it's there for you. It's our site, our surrender journey. I love hearing what's new with you or polite things that are on your mind.
8. Blab! Yes, this is the first time I give permission to blab. Grab the button my dear friend created for your site on the right sidebar. Tell friends. Write in the sky. Use smoke signals. But if you walk about this site and tell others, you lighten my load big time!
For you bloggers, what do you do to get your blog out tere? Let me know. I love learning.
