I can feel it, can you? It's this feeling, it's in the atmosphere, it's an expectation. Life as we know it is about to change. Where our lives felt like we've been on the defense against an unseen enemy, we're about to be on the offense.
What used to be status quo is mediocre to us. We hunger for more. We're not on the benches watching and hoping for some action, we're on the front lines.
That's what this chapter is about. I'm seeing as I pray new strategies and kind of like a video game, new clues are unlocking before me that were there are along. God is revealing Himself in new ways even though He hasn't changed. I had lunch with Kim from the Narrow Gate Invites and we both said the same thing, what God has in store will blow our minds.
He will do such a work many of us will reject it because we're going to say it isn't Him. It won't be the pretty people who come running to the arms of Jesus, it's going to be the hookers and the addicts. To be properly prepared for whatever it is God is going to call us to do, it's going to take HIs strength. To access that, He wants more of us, to share His heart and His love. Then we can pass that love on. His love is powerful, holy, mighty and fierce. I don't want to be cavalier!
Although God is a warrior, a vision of Braveheart comes to mind, He is love. Jesus is King and He's coming back. This time there will be no mistaking Him, all will understand.
If you have a stir in your heart that your name is sealed on His mind, it is. If you feel there is something in the air, there is. He doesn't need you, He wants you.
Question is, are you in?
