Don't worry, if I do anything too embarrassing for his milestone birthday, I hit 40 in March and I know it's only fair.  I thought today I'd share random things about the man God sent to me.

1. At our wedding I received a card congratulating me on marrying Tony.  Problem?  I married Tom.  (Tony is the youngest brother I went to school with).

2. He first told me he loved me at a local raceway.  I couldn't hear him over the roar of the cars so he took me to the parking lot AKA the fields.

3. He first asked me out during a family camping trip.  He came straight from work and arrived with a computer disk in his pocket.  He's never lived that down.

4. He loves singing so much as a teenager he'd visit churches just to sing (so he thinks, God has another plan).

5.  I so love that he bent the rules when I was on bedrest with our oldest and took me to the ice cream place to get out.  He made me stay in the car lieing down, but I got out of the house!

6.  One of my favorite moments was going with him to the Jimmy Stewart Museum.

7.  He admitted as soon as our daughter was placed in his hands that he'd never be able to discipline her.

8.  He accomplished the ultimate---a hole in one.

9.  Another favorite memory was getting the kids to bed and rushing to the...TV so we could watch the latest Netflix disc of 24.  Obsessed doesn't quite cover it.

10.  He admits he doesn't always know the right thing to say or how to help.  But he's become a master at throwing me a bag of milk chocolate.

Happy birthday Tony...I mean Tom...I love you very much!
